Avoyelles Arts Council Summer Art Camp

Join the Avoyelles Arts Council for our summer art camp at Gallery on the Square in Marksville!

Spark your child’s imagination this summer with our hands-on projects. Your kid will develop artistic skills taught by our creative experts. This camp is designed for ages of 5 to 12.

MEMBERS $50. NON-MEMBERS $75.

Schedule of Day Camps: Different activities each day.

Monday June 8th, 9:00 - 12:00 pm: La Petite Affaire - Culinary activity with chef Roy Guilbeau (campers should first meet at Gallery on Square)

Tuesday, June 9th, 9:00 - 12:00 pm: Flower Design with Reine Flower Co. - Create your own floral masterpiece then paint what inspires you

Wednesday, June 10th, 9:00 - 12:00 pm: Recycled Art - Transform everyday recycled material into creative artworks while learning about sustainability and imaginative reuse

Thursday, June 11th, 9:00 - 12:00 pm: Fun with Watercolors - Explore painting techniques with household items and watercolors

Friday, June 12th, 9:00 - 12:00 pm: Crochet Yourself Cozy - Learn basic crochet techniques to create a handmade project you can take home and enjoy
